With Silk, we simply deal with everything for you. You let us have your invoices, receipts and statements, and we will deal with everything else! This means that we will take care of your bookkeeping, prepare your VAT returns, produce your accounts and complete your tax return, giving you time to concentrate on other matters.

But more than that, we will look at you as an individual taking into consideration more than just your accounting compliance. We’ll review your tax liabilities and give advice on your options to minimise your tax bill. We’ll even estimate it every quarter so you know what your tax liability is likely to be. We will also advise on all elements of your personal finances such as your pension, investments and even your mortgage, looking at your short, medium and long term requirements.

• Year end accounts
  We will prepare your annual accounts within 30 days of receiving the closing information from you.
• Personal financial planning
  We will meet with you to review your overall personal financial planning to develop a co-ordinated approach to your finances. This includes your pension, other investments, mortgage, income protection, and life assurance.
• Tax return
  We will complete your tax return promptly upon receiving any additional information required.
• Ad hoc financial advice
  We will discuss with you and provide initial advice on events that occur from time to time in your professional and personal life.
• Accounts and tax discussion
  We will discuss your completed accounts with you and explain your tax liabilities each year.
• Bookkeeping
  We will look after all of your necessary bookkeeping! Simply send us all of your expense receipts and payments received summaries and we will do the rest.
• Tax planning review
  Once we have completed your accounts and calculated your tax liabilities, we will carry out a comprehensive review of your tax planning options, looking to mitigate or defer your tax bill.
• Bookkeeping software
  We will use MORE software for your bookkeeping and will provide you with this licensed software free of charge for your own use. We will send a copy of your full accounts and records each year for your records.
• Tax forecasting
  To avoid worries for future tax bills, we can provide a tax forecast of estimated future liabilities for up to 24 months in advance.
• VAT
  We will complete your quarterly VAT returns, checking the figures to ensure they are consistent and as we would expect.
• Tax payment dates and reminders
  We will help you to keep track of the key dates for taxation purposes during the year.
• Quarterly review summary
  We can provide you with a summary for each quarter showing how much money you have made.
